Wow Ladies! We made it to Day 7. And guess what!? God told us to rest on the 7th day, so while I don’t want you to go nuts, I want you to take today off. This is planned into the diet and I wanted it to be a surprise to you. There is a BIG however, though. HOWEVER, do not go overboard on the following items or your tummy will hate you.
~ Gluten (try really hard to just stay away from this until the end of next week)
~ Dairy (if you have been eating the Fage Yogurt, then you may have some cheese. If you have not been eating any dairy, then keep off of it or just have one serving of ice cream if that is what you want.)
~ Red Meat (Go have a burger if you want. Again, the key is to not over indulge or you may get sick.)
~ Grains (have at it as long as they are gluten free.)
~ Sugar (have a desert today. You deserve it, but again, stay away from gluten if you can.)
If you would like to move forward…
Congrats on your completion of the Temple Sweep Cleanse. At this time you will need to take a look back on your week and assess your success. Did you accomplish 50% of your goal? Do you feel you stuck to it 80% of the time? Whatever your success we would still like you to move forward. I want you to decide today if you would like to continue forward with the second week doing Temple Maintenance or you may choose to go back and start the Temple Cleanse at day one again for a second boost to your Sweep. If you feel like you have a good rhythm going on the Temple Sweep Cleanse, then I encourage you to stick it out one more week. After next week you will go to Maintenance. If you need the extra calories or feel like you would like to move to Maintenance tomorrow, then please do so. Here is the plan for this week if you want to move to Maintenance:
Alternate High Calorie Day (HCD) then Low Calorie Day (LCD). Same foods as above however you may add gluten free bread, pasta, rice, or beans on your HCD. Plus you may add red meet on two of you high calorie days and a gluten free desert on two of your HCD. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday)
Monday: (HCD) Add Gluten Free Grains: up to 2 servings at different meals (gluten free bread, pasta, rice, beans)
Tuesday: (LCD) Only foods from week 1
Wednesday: (HCD) Add Gluten Free Grains: up to 2 servings at different meals (gluten free bread, pasta, rice, beans)
Thursday: (LCD) Only foods from week 1
Friday: (HCD) Add Gluten Free Grains: up to 2 servings at different meals (gluten free bread, pasta, rice, beans)
Saturday: (LCD) Only foods from week 1
Sunday: (HCD) Day of rest, eat freely, but with wisdom. Don’t overdo it. This day can have gluten free grains, red meat, and a desert if you wish.
